laazy daaaays;

trelise cooper dress, levis denim jacket, big w tights, miss shop boots.

i have been absolutely busy with school, as it is back now, from us being on holidays and all. So I haven't exactly had the time to blog. which is very sad. I decided to go for the natural look for this 'shoot' to match my hair, as I have not strightened it for over a week. amazing, i know.

Op-shop dress, Sportsgirl tights, Miss Shop shoes.
I made a pathetic attempt to take photos today, but It didn't really work out, as I was very tired on account of not getting much sleep last night. Because my alarm clock (or me) wildly miscalculated on the time this morning, and not caring that it was dark, got up at five. This situatuion plus Izzy equals lazy blogger. So there you had it. My news, is that I got new tights, and they are amazing. Which I will have to blog about later.

romance was born A/W 2010 absolutely makes me froth at the mouth,

Romance was Born is a very Avant-garde Australian label and it absolutely makes me froth at the mouth. Their shoot for their A/W 2010 collection, Nightmare on Wall Street, I think looks like the best robbery ever.

I wish my feet wouldn't grow any more.

At the races I saw a man wearing black trousers, a pale purple shirt, and dusty purple Doc Martens, and suddenly had the urge to strike up a conversation. It turns out he got his Docs when he was eighteen, still wears them, and considers them a must-have investment piece. AND I WANT A PAIR SOOOOO BAD. If you like them, and have non-growing feet, they are absolutely an investment piece. and even if i have rapidly growing feet, I know what's on the top of my christmas list.

the hare and the hatter.

Esprit shirt, op-shop coat, Tightrope shorts, Big W tights, Miss shop boots.

things that are big, right now.

I've decided that in order to have a popular blog you need to:
a) blog, at least once a day. (which I do not do.)
b) write about things that people are actually interested in, popular things in the world RIGHT NOW.
So, I'm going to try to at least do one of those things.
1. The Twilight Saga. Seriously, if you do not know what i am talking about, you must have been living under a rock, underground, in the middle of the desert, for at least the past three years. TEAM JACOB!*
2. Well, here in Australia, the Kevin '07 vs. Julia Gillard thing is a big deal. Huge, actually. I don't really have an amazingly strong opinion on the whole situation. I tried to read about it in the newspaper, but got distracted by a piece of lint.
3. Those loose tops that come just below the belly button. It's not a hideous trend, actually. In fact, I even ignored the fact that I was way too superior for that kind of thing and bought one.
4. Katy Perry and Snoop Dog's song, California Girls. OK, eventually I will wind up hating it. But for now, I don't mind having it stuck in my head.
I think that about covers the latest Big Things, at least for the next five minutes.
* I am not a twihard, by the way.

The Twilight Saga. Katy Perry.
