These last couple of days have been very enjoyable because-wait for it- my assessment is beginning to slow down! I can actually make a list of the things I have to do on one hand! It's all so exciting! I celebrated by going shopping with my Mother and not buying much at all, but spritzing perfumes and trying on things and all the enjoyable things you can do in a mall without spending money. While I was getting dress for the occasion I realised that OH MY GOSH I have nothing to wear. So I had to settle with this gorgeous red knit top that I bought about 4 years ago, then handed down to my little sister, then stole back. Hand-me-ups rock!

winter outfits

Sorry about the late post! I have been having difficulties with actually getting up and making an effort in this cold weather. That or I am just extremely lazy. Either way, here are my favourite outfits at the moment. The first one includes a black bustier which I have had for a couple of months now and never worn. Sad, really. Also, my new shorts, a chunky knit and a bow the lovely Maria made me. It's a bit experimental as I have never worn it (yet it is my favourite). Thoughts?

The second one includes the Miss Shop knit that I have been featuring in what seems like all my posts lately. As one of my lovely commenters said, "It is like a dream". Also, my peter pan collared shirt, tights and Ray-Bans. Feedback would be appreciated!

I have been obsessing over peter pan collars for a pretty long time now. I guess it's just the sheer whimsicality and innocence that is depicted in my mind when I think of them. When I bought the top, my mother said she had one "just like it, though it had sleeves of course". Bloggers, I think I have met the shop that is made for me. Everything in it I would buy. I had pictured, before I even entered the shop, myself in some of the clothes. It was destiny that brought me and Princess Polly together. Of course, I couldn't afford everything in the store so I settled on the gorgeous Wind Chime top (the shirt underneath in these pictures) and the Hotel shorts. I'm sure you will see them in an upcoming post, if I survive that long. My lovely mother jetted off to America and left me behind, and I miss her dearly. But kudos to her for having this skirt in her wardrobe.

campfire

 So I just had my first major birthday party, complete with  a campfire, roasting marshmallows and night bushwalks. So much cleaning up to do, including retrieving a phonebook from a tree (?), but worth it. I didn't take any blog-worthy photos, so I made a polyvore of some of the must-have campfire buys. It will make you want to get out your guitar and flashlight.

So this is the legendary birthday outfit from my last post. I styled it with my tortoiseshell sunglasses and the one and only Miss Shop boots. It was very inspired by Rumi Neely (first photo) because she is such a great person to be inspired by! I sort of want to reach in my computer screen and grab every outfit she wears. Or something like that.

Please excuse the fact that I have not blogged in centuries, for I have been celebrating my Birthday! It was on the 19th, but I have been celebrating for quite a few days now as turning fourteen is a massive milestone. Everyone knows that. Well, I have put together a little showcase of my presents, as it is terrible weather for a photo shoot outside. So please enjoy, and excuse the delay!
